THE CAYSON DESIGNS STORY
In 1992, Lynette and the late Eddie Cayson founded Cayson Designs with a passion to create high quality culinary garments and a vision to provide unmatched customer service. These strong roots as a family run business have anchored our ambitious growth over the past 25 years.
Our sewing factory and office have always been located in our hometown of San Francisco, California. All of our products are designed and constructed on-site by our dedicated, creative and talented team.
In 2016, Lynette sold Cayson Designs to A+ Career and School Apparel, another family run business based in Burlingame, California. For more than 40 years, A+ has provided high-performance uniforms and hospitality apparel to customers nationwide. The A+ team has extensive knowledge in both large and small scale manufacturing as well as design and embroidery experience. We are excited to partner with A+ to open the door for new avenues of growth.
Karie La Mountain, our fearless General Manager, will be leading the Cayson Designs team in this new chapter with Lynette Cayson staying on in a consulting role.
The Cayson Designs philosophy remains the same and A+ shares our commitment to providing top quality garments with outstanding service. Cayson Designs’ high quality products will continue to be designed and manufactured in our San Francisco office and sewing workshop.
